Welcome to the course website for OLLI  20039 Introduction to Digital Literacies!

A short course for the University of Minnesota College of Continuing Education’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, this class is catered toward adult-returning and retired students who have varied experience with various digital technologies and literacies. The goal of this course is to provide a safe and productive learning space for participants to learn about contemporary digital technologies, to ask tough questions of the digital technologies discussed, and to consider how technology alters our home, work, and social lives.

Every generation has expertise and knowledge to offer other generations. Working from this perspective, this course seeks to pool the collective knowledge of multi-generational participants in order to better understand contemporary digital technologies, literacies, and the Internet.
